In order to meet our duties under the Single Equality Scheme, St. Bede's Catholic High School has integrated our statutory duties in relation to race, disability and gender and promoting community cohesion into all other policies. The duties cover staff, pupils and people using the services of the school such as parents. It also addresses the legislation laid out in the Equality Act 2010, relating to religion or belief, sexual orientation, age and maternity and includes our priorities and actions to eliminate discrimination and harassment and to promote equality of opportunity and positive relationships.
