EmpowHER Young People's Project

EmpowHER Young People's Project

Pupils in Action Group have continued their inspirational work in supporting members of our local community through their outreach projects. With the support of EmpowHER and Youth Worker Terry, they have donated £150 to the food bank at the Salvation Army.

The Action Youth Group, through EmpowHER Young People's project have just purchased £100 of meat products for the Salvation Army Bridge Projects in Blackpool. This will provide people with a lunch four days a week. This also provided a cheque for £50 to purchase food for their foodbank.

The residents chose £50 pounds worth of plants for their garden area at the Stell Matutina Care Home, Lytham St Annes. The residents were empowered to make their own choices, which the young people were fully behind, working on an intergenerational social action project.

We are so proud of the young people involved, who attend St Bede's Catholic High School. These pupils are great ambassadors for the EmpowHER Youth Project and for the school. Thank you for making a difference to the lives of others in our local community.

Be inspiring and Be kind.
