UK CyberFirst Girls Competition

UK CyberFirst Girls Competition

Year 8 Girls, We Need You!

Saint Bede’s is taking part in a competition out of this world. The CyberFirst Girls Competition 2021 is being run by the National Cyber Security Centre and we need you to get a team of four girls together to compete and represent Saint Bede’s. To do this you will need to explore your own and your team mates skills. You will need; vision, confidence, be bold and have a passion for computing.

The competition consists of three distinct phases:

The online qualifying round to identify the top teams in each home nation and English region

The semi-final where teams will battle it out in their areas to qualify for a place in the Grand Final

The Grand Final where the top ten teams drawn from the regions in England, and from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will gather to compete for the title of UK CyberFirst Girls’ Competition Winners.

Your most valuable skills are the ones you already have and you don’t need any previous experience, only the desire to learn more about computing. Get your team together and report to crichman@stbedeslytham.lancs.sch.uk for further information. Your entry must be no later than 17th December 3pm.
