Learning Support Clubs

The‘In Club’ is a haven, provided every lunchtime and break time by Learning Support.

The 'In Club is specifically designed for students who may enjoy a quieter break or lunch time.  It is staffed by a member of staff from the Learning Support Department, who is available to help with homework, classwork or just for a general chat.  Pupils can play games with each other, chat or use their devices, as long as they are working on a task which is related to their school work.

If you would like to join the 'In’ Club', please see Mrs Abberley or one of the Teaching Assistants.

The 'Numbers Up Club’ is an additional club for pupils who have been identified and specially selected by Mrs Youde.

This is an additional club for pupils who have been identified and selected by Mrs Youde.  In the 'Numbers Up Club', each pupil’s numeracy skills are assessed, individually profiled and an individual numeracy programme is provided.  This focuses on developing the individual skills in the areas which have been highlighted in the programme. There are a wide range of ICT and hands-on resources and games. If you would like to be considered for membership, please see Mrs Youde or Mrs Abbott.
