North West Classics - Lancashire Champion

Saint Bede's pupil Gabriella has taken part in the North West Classics Competition (Artistic Gymnastics) held at Robin Park in Wigan. She competed Saturday morning in Zinc category age 12+, where Gabriella the youngest age in the category, competing against some gymnasts age 14 and 15. The competition is a 4 piece event they compete in bar, beam, floor and vault. Gabriella's positions are below-

Lancashire - Overall Champion 

Individual pieces for Lancashire - 2nd on bar, 2nd beam and 2nd floor

Vault - 3rd

North West - 2nd Overall, Gabriella missed out on first by 0.05 of a mark. Which is the equivalent of one facial expression on floor to put it in perspective, the competition was extremely close.

Gabriella also received a 4th place on bar and an 11th place in the vault event.
