Welcome to Saint Bede’s!

Founded in 1961, we are an 11-16 co-educational Roman Catholic High School under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Lancaster.  Saint Bede’s is maintained by the Local Authority as a Voluntary Aided school. 

Saint Bede’s is, first and foremost, a Catholic school, and our distinctive Catholic ethos shapes everything that we do. This can be seen through the importance of prayer and worship at the very heart of school life.
