Admissions 2024 - Unsuccessful Application

Thank you to all families who applied for a place at Saint Bede’s Catholic High School for the September 2024 intake.  If your application was not successful, the following options are available to you.

Waiting list

If we are oversubscribed, children who are not admitted can be placed on a waiting list. The children on this waiting list will be ranked using the admissions criteria from our admissions policy. Late applicants will be slotted into the list according to the extent to which they meet the criteria. Thus it is possible to move down the list as well as up. For example a child who moves into the area may have a higher priority than one who has been on the waiting list for some time. If a place becomes available, the child whose name is at the top of the list will be offered a place. This is not dependent on whether an appeal has been submitted.

This list is held and managed by Pupil Access at LCC.

To make an application prior to January please click here.

Completed forms should be returned to the following address no later than Friday, 15 March 2024:

Area Pupil Access (North), Education Office, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston

PR1 0LD 01524 581148 pupilaccessteam.north@lancashire.gov.uk

Appeal
