Today the Finch House Mass was held to celebrate the Feast of St. David. St. David, the Patron Saint of Wales.St David was the founder of a monastic community in the 6th Century. Monks make 3 vows of chastity, poverty and obedience and stick to them all through life. During Lent, by the grace of God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we can receive the perfect forgiveness of Christ and strengthen our willpower (self-control) to turn away from sin and change our lives for the better. Thankyou to Hannah, Imogen, Ruby, Daniella, Rhys, Luke and Jake for leading the Liturgy today.

Saint Bede's production of Narnia was a roaring success! Thank you so much to all pupils and parents who have worked incredibly hard and also supported the production. We were so happy so many pupils, staff, parents and carers could make it to watch a great show! We are very proud.

Lenten Reconciliation - The Domino Effect Pupils from all year groups will take part in our services of reconciliation in the School Chapel this week. Based on Romans 7: 15-18 'I want to do what is right, but I don't do it.' They will take time to reflect on the domino effect that results when we use our free will in the wrong way and make wrong choices. All pupils will be invited to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, in school in the coming weeks, to receive the grace of God's complete forgiveness from our priest Chaplain, Fr. John Millar.

Happy feast day of St. Joseph! Today the Catholic Church celebrates the feast of St. Joseph. He is known as the archetypal ‘strong, silent type’. It was a real joy to see the Chapel filled with staff and pupils for the feast day Mass. We are very grateful to Jenny and Fr. John. https://t.co/9dMxNAOFoM
